Local news media does not often connect the dots between local Christian churches and nonprofits that engage in Dominionist work. For three years, I shared my work on the platform formerly known as Twitter, successfully raising awareness to the local dominionist landscape - but not often enough with actual Lancastrians.
My hope is to reach more Lancastrians and do so in a format that is more easily consumed by more people. To that end, please reach out when my work is not clear and/or you find it difficult to navigate.
Additionally, I hope to collaborate and organize with locals both to increase the number of people reached and also to work smarter than harder. Please reach out if you are interested in collaborating, organizing or supporting my work with volunteer hours.
Last, while Americans must pay more attention to issues around Christian nationalism, we must also work to repair the issues that divide us. Researching one’s own backyard is not easy. I will, inevitably and despite my best intentions, step on toes. Please know that I understand the complexity of individuals and encourage my readers to, as well. I hope to center the work on organizations and leaders. I tend to believe that many, if not most, of the people engaged in these movements do not fully understand what they are involved in. Somehow we must all traverse the fine line between pointing fingers / casting blame and finding ways to move forward together for the sake of our democracy.

Who I AM
The Lancaster Examiner is a longtime resident and a self-taught independent activist researcher in Lancaster Pennsylvania.
While I was not aware of it at the time, I first became aware of the New Apostolic Reformation’s presence in Lancaster County in 2012, when a local community school director started sharing stories centered on the leader of their partner nonprofit. In 2017, I started digging deeper. Finally, in the summer of 2022, my work intersected with that of fellow independent researcher, Kira Resistance, and my eyes became wide open.
At that point, my work became largely centered on connecting dots and providing context between local Dominionist leaders, churches and nonprofits, highlighting how they connect to state and national networks. THAT is my growing expertise: connecting local dots and providing context.
I am not journalist. I should not be framed as a journalist. I encourage my readers to support local journalism.
Similarly, I am not a theologian. I encourage you to follow Lancaster locals Dillon Cruz and Greg Carey for that expertise.
